“AG Office Plan to Takeover Dahlan's Case”

Attorney General's office plan to takeover the case of Dahlan Iskan since he was allegedly involved in three cases. In one case he was named as suspect and in the other two he was involved as a witness. Dahlan's lawyer, Yusril Ihza, is waiting for an investigation warrant in order to study the articles and accusations against Dahlan Iskan. From those warrant, Dahlan's team will decide whether to appeal for pre-trial or not.

With regards to the corruption of drugs and medical appliances in Raden Mahater State Hospital, Jambi, investigators have traced state loss up to 25 billion rupiahs. The suspects in this case, who are civil servants, allegedly manipulate prices and specifications in the procurement of drugs and appliances.

Chief of Police Badrodin Haiti has allowed his personnel to register as candidate of KPK leader. Haiti was quoted as saying that a police officer with law-enforcement background serving as KPK leader will optimize corruption eradication efforts and would improve relations between the two bodies.
